Firoa Studios - Donoussa

The location of these studios is absolutely mind-blowing, just a few minutes walk from the beach and port! The owners have maintained a beautiful rural setting with landscaped surroundings. The spacious and clean studios have the biggest beds I've ever seen. Watching the sunset from the balcony with a drink in hand was a super experience. The pick-up and drop-off service from the port was fantastic. The nearby sandy beach is perfect for children. The island has marked paths and a lovely boat trip. We had a jaw-dropping time in Donoussa and will definitely return!

Enjoyable base for exploring Donoussa. Location away from the hectic city life. And just off also to Kedros beach as well as restaurants...

The location was mind-blowing, just a 3-minute walk to the village and clean beach with basic mini markets and lovely traditional tavernas. The views of the sea, mountains, and village from the newly established vineyards were jaw-dropping. The rooms were super spacious with their own kitchenettes and lovely covered porches to relax on. The owner, Dimitris, was incredibly passionate about preserving the culture and tranquility of the accommodation and surrounding area. It was the perfect place to relax and gather your thoughts on this beautiful, traditional island. The personal pick-up service from the port was a nice touch of Greek hospitality. The internet and wifi being sketchy was actually a pleasant surprise as it allowed for a complete disconnect from the world. The little touches, like the paper boats on the bed, showed the love and care put into the hospitality. Thank you for a wonderful time!

The decoration of the hotel reflects the warm and vibrant spirit of Greece, with beautiful Greek artwork adorning the rooms. The general areas of the hotel are well-maintained and spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the location of the studios is perfect for seniors, as it is conveniently situated on the edge of the small town, allowing easy access to all the amenities. Only a short 2-minute walk takes you into town, where you can explore the local shops and restaurants. Moreover, the stunning Kedros beach is just a pleasant 15-minute stroll away, providing the perfect spot for relaxation and enjoyment.

If I had one small request for a better vacation experience for seniors, it would be for the staff to provide a bit more assistance and attention to the unique needs of older guests. While the children working at the hotel were friendly, I believe a little more support and guidance in terms of recommending activities or providing information about the area would have been appreciated.

A sun terrace, garden views, and a free shuttle service. Wow, I felt like a VIP with all these fancy amenities!

Oh, and let's not forget the non-existent WiFi inside the room. Who needs internet in this day and age anyway?

The transfer was super efficient, with Dimitris greeting us at the port. The room was available surprisingly early, at around 10 am. The studios are surrounded by a jaw-dropping garden filled with beautiful flowers and vegetables. The room had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, and a perfect balcony with a breathtaking sea view. Dimitris was extremely helpful throughout our stay, providing us with information on buses, supermarkets, and beaches. The island itself is a peaceful and laid-back paradise. We loved the peaceful location, just a short walk away from shops and restaurants. The terrace with its stunning sea view was perfect for outdoor dining. Dimitris was a fantastic host, always friendly and welcoming. He went above and beyond, even giving us fresh produce from his garden. The cleanliness of the apartment was outstanding. it was a mind-blowing stay and we can't wait to return.

The kitchen appliances could have been improved. It would have been nice to have a small oven and accessories like a chopping board.

I really got great value for my money at Firoa Studios. The room was spacious, clean, and had a nice balcony. The location was quiet and surrounded by beautiful tomato and grape fields. The staff were all very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed.
